Freddy Fazbear is a very minor antagonist in Five Nights at Freddy's DX.
Behavior[]
Freddy never actually moves until the power goes out. When that happens, his laugh can be heard, which indicates he left the Show Stage. He'll move to The Office very swiftly. Unlike Five Nights at Freddy's (the first game, from 2014), as soon as he reaches the Office he attacks immediately (via the Main Hall) rather than playing his tune and waiting. Playing dead does not help. Nothing can stop Freddy (the Freddy Fazbear Head not working is obvious since it's Freddy himself). There's one difference between his attack and the Puppet's: During the Puppet's attack, the timer freezes so the player is literally forced to get jumpscared (for example, if it's 5 AM, it'll never turn 6 AM so the player can't escape in any way). During Freddy's attack, however, the timer can become 6 AM (like the first game), unlike the Puppet's. In his jumpscare Freddy pops up right in front of the player and performs his infamous laugh, then the screen blacks out.
Trivia[]
- Freddy's behaviour was inspired by the fact that Freddy was actually going to behave like that in the first game, but Scott Cawthon wanted more screen time for Freddy and so his behaviour was changed.
